Micha’s Late Summer Session Sneaks!

I first met this blonde haired cutie last October when we did his first year mini portraits.

This year, his mama contacted me to set up their family session. I was so happy she did. The weather was absolutely perfect and little Abe was full of spunk and was super silly! You know real life with an almost 2 year old is a wild ride!

I asked Micha to share their story with me. Here’s what she share about their family:

“Jr and I met in 2003, but weren’t romantically linked until 2014.

So we’ve been together for the last seven years, married for three. We skipped a traditional wedding and just popped into the courthouse on a Friday morning, after having lost a house to fire and learning that Jr has Multiple Sclerosis. Life was giving us lemons, and we had to make lemonade, so we decided on a Monday that we would be married on Friday. We ended up spending the night before our “wedding” in the ER until nearly midnight because Jr had kidney stones. We got up the next morning, got married, Jr went to work like any other Friday. We spent the weekend, recuperating, watching Netflix and eating steak in bed. Rinse and repeat.

We have my 9 year old, Joe, and our almost two year old, Abe. Joe is a WWII enthusiast and gamer, and Abe likes cars and coloring. Jr is an artist and musician who works at Tropicana and I’m a stay-at-home parent, who does bookkeeping for small businesses as a side hustle.
Jr is a USI alum, and I graduated from Murray State. ” -MB
