Eden’s Story!

I guess for you to learn about Eden’s story, we have to start from the beginning from the first time I met this sweet little family.

This bright eyed baby boy brought us together! And, actually, today is his 6th birthday! So, 6 years ago I was just 2 days post a tonsillectomy surgery…as an adult that surgery is the worst thing I have ever gone through! And I have had two c-sections! But this little guy wasn’t supposed to be here for another 6 weeks. I was completely shocked when I woke up in a groggy haze at 5am to a text Danielle had sent at 3am, that she had gone into labor and they knew I had just had this surgery and if I couldn’t make it they understood. What! Before I had even considered having this surgery I discussed it with her that I would have enough time to recover before his birth. I just didn’t want to be unavailable! You never can really know when babies will come! But this little boy surprised us all coming 6 weeks early! LOL!

There was NO WAY I could miss this! You only get one chance at capturing a birth! You can’t relive that moment. I knew how important this moment was and made sure I was there to document this huge milestone.

Danielle and Holden were so fresh faced and happy. They radiate their love for each other. You could feel it in the room. He was such a great companion for Danielle through her labor. And Danielle was so brave and strong. Less then 45 minutes or so of my arrival, baby Emmett was here!

A week or so later we did his newborn session.

And then he turned ONE!

I think sometime in between sessions they relocated back to their hometown, which is about 2 hours away. But they still came back for his first year. A few years later they welcomed a baby girl to the family and once again, made the trip to my studio in Newburgh.

A little more time past…and Danielle reached out and let me know they were expecting again! It was another girl! <3

And so, we come to Eden’s part. Just like her siblings, she was such a precious little baby! And so beautiful! I couldn’t wait to meet her!

I am so happy for this family. It’s been amazing to watch their family grow from 3 to 5! I appreciate this family more than they could know. I value their time and I am forever thankful for clients/friends like them.
