On Saturday, March 9th I got to photograph Brooks & Rachel’s wedding. I truly do love weddings! I love getting to witness love being shared and the promises couples make to each other and form the new union between them. It is really a surreal moment. Being a wedding photographer you are just an observer documenting the day. Also, helping keep everyone on track and staying calm, communicating with venue owners and other important people on that day. It is a LOT of work. Both physically and mentally at times. I think the work is worth it. Especially when you get to document and tell beautiful stories in photographs. I feel so blessed to have this gift and love the friendships it has brought me.

Brooks and Rachel’s Wedding Day was simply perfect. Having learned they have been together for over 7 years and met each other at Brooks’s sister’s wedding was so fascinating! I love hearing stories like this. Rachel, who is originally from the Nashville, TN. area and Brooks is a Boonvegas OG. In that span of 7 years together they had a beautiful daughter, Penelope, who just turned 5 after the wedding. They accomplished many milestones together and continue to strive to be the best versions of themselves for each other. And now officially becoming Mr. & Mrs.!

Thank you both so much for having Leona and I be a part of this special day. Rachel was the most gorgeous bride I have ever seen!
