We finally had the chance to take Alivia’s first year photos last week. I cannot believe how FAST this past year has gone by and now because of the “lock down” it seemed like we just teleported to where we are now. Jeez. But anyway, we are getting back to normal.

I met this adorable fam of 4 outside first to take some fun family pictures. Chasing after two girls under three is hilarious! It is what it is! Just embrace that moment, I love capturing the authentic. The S. Family is always fun to photograph and I love getting the chance to catch up with everyone and see how they have been doing.

Afterwards we headed back to the studio for Alivia’s lemon themed smash. This girl is so busy and on the move! LOL!

It was a lot of fun, and mom and I had a lot of laughs! Overall, the session was a huge success. Sometimes when it seems like a shit show and a little wild, that’s when you capture the best stuff! Kids do what they want! First and foremost. You have to go with the flow, know the tricks and capture the moment.

I want to thank the S. Family for coming to me ever since big sister’s Ava’s first year session. You guys are always so much fun and I love capturing beautiful images for your family!
